There is an excellent beach and swimming grounds next to the hotel. A playground has been set up for children to enjoy and for parents to relax at. The very friendly and peaceful white swan families are frequent guests on our beach welcoming the hotel guests.

The hotel grounds include a volleyball pitch, a streetball court and a large meadow for organising sporting activities.
Nearby on the beach, we offer boat rides, pedalo rental and the fun Porto Resort ship. This is an excellent entertainment that will add to your party of family, friends, or colleagues.

For those who love the nature, we offer tent grounds and well-arranged picnic areas with the option of ordering a grill and grilled dishes ahead of time. The vast hotel territory also allows camper sites and service.
Lampreys of Carnikava
Not far from the hotel Porto Resort, in Carnikava, you can enjoy the Latvian delicacy — the lampreys of Carnikava. The local business SIA Krupis offers excursions and degustations: jellied lampreys, grilled lampreys, lamprey sushi.

Bicycle museum
The collection represents the Latvian bicycle manufacturing history before World War II; alongside unique exhibits, an antique workshop and a shop are set up. The only bicycle museum in Latvia and the largest one in the Baltic States.

Fishing harbour and timber harbour
A commemorative plaque is set up at the harbour, bearing an inscription “The Skulte fishing harbour was suggested by the State President Kārlis Ulmanis and built by the Maritime Department between 1927–1937”.
